A highly profitable industry in which a dedicated door supervisor can make a consistent living, security courses are popular here at PD Training and usually can be completed in as little as 4 days. To obtain a SIA Licence, you must firstly complete the Level 2 Door Supervisor qualification, whether you’d like to progress to door supervisor or security guard.
The SIA Door Supervisor course is usually split over four days, and contains the following modules:
Working in the Private Security industry
Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security industry
Physical Intervention Skills for working within Private Security industry
Conflict Management when working within Private Security industry
Given our extensive experience in the course - which we have been successfully conducting for many years - you can be assured that you’re in safe hands with your training from us here at PD Training.
We would recommend that you take a Door Supervisor course and exam over a Security Guard one, as you can take the Door Supervisor course and still work as a security guard. However, you cannot take the exam for a Door Supervisor course if you already have a Security Guard badge.
One of the elements of teaching behind PD Training that sets us aside from the competitors is that fact that we not only teach you the syllabus of the set Door Supervisor course, but we also offer you real life situations and examples to ensure you’re not working off theory alone.
